About the Company
Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation has provided engineering and technical services in support of the Department of Defense and industry since 1977. By providing our customers with quality products and services and consistently exceeding customer expectations, we have grown to a 200+ employee company with more than 10 locations with numerous detachments overseas. NASC began by providing highly specialized acoustics engineering and analysis support to the Naval Air Development Center (NADC) in Warminster, Pennsylvania. Our engineering staff worked with NADC researchers to develop new innovations for anti-submarine warfare. In 1991, the U.S. government implemented a nationwide Base Realignment and Closure, or more commonly known as “BRAC” and relocated the NADC (now the Naval Air Warfare Center) to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Maryland. NASC helped facilitate the BRAC transition from Warminster to Patuxent River by providing an array of services including a method for the highly technical and specialized personnel of the base to continue working with the Navy during this period. Over the years our capabilities have expanded to include avionics, air vehicles, sensors, electro-optics, prototyping, systems integration, and manufacturing. NASC continues to grow in our engineering expertise, locations, and personnel. As we look to the future, NASC will continue to expand by supporting our customers with the quality engineering and technical expertise that has fueled growth throughout our history.
