Aerotek is seeking to hire an A&P Mechanic with experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, powerplant, and avionics systems in General Aviation aircraft. This is a Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week role intended as a long-term career role with a stable local company.

A&P Mechanic will be responsible for removing, installing, and troubleshooting avionics equipment (Garmin, Rockwell, Avidyne, etc.) in General Aviation aircraft, as well as supporting modifications and maintenance related to Avionics upgrades.

Reading blueprints and drawings, reviewing the layout, selecting tools and performing repairs of mounts, wiring, etc; performing installs, troubleshooting and repairing, submitting for inspection and signoff.


2+ years of recent experience repairing GA aircraft

5+ years of experience highly preferred

A&P license required

Must be eligible for airport SIDA badge
