The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will assist in service, repair, maintenance and inspection of the FUGRO fleet of aircraft. The role will be tasked with verifying and complying with airworthiness directives, manufacturer service bulletins, service manuals and drawings.
Assist with aircraft inspections; repair work; aligning and calibrating engine systems; preventative maintenance, modifications; repairs and parts replacements
Verify and comply with airworthiness directives, FAA publications, manufacturer service bulletins, service manuals and instructions, aircraft specifications and any other necessary documents
Complete and maintain required documentation of aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections, and certifications to comply with the mandates of the FAA and manufacturers
Assist in the implementation of general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company personnel in compliance with local, state and federal, and OSHA rules and regulations
Assume other activities, duties, and responsibilities as needed
Continually work to increase knowledge and capabilities
Project a professional appearance and cooperative attitude, always maintain high ethical standards of confidentiality in representing the company to ensure a professional representation
Comply and promote with the requirements of the company’s documented quality system
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions
Minimum three years’ experience conducting aircraft maintenance activities to include: proper documentation of work performed, troubleshooting, use of technical manuals and special tooling
Must possess a FAA licensed Airframe & Power Plant Mechanic license
Must be adept at mechanics and understand how the various parts of machinery interact with each other
Must be proficient in troubleshooting
Experience working under highly demanding conditions and time restraints
Must have knowledge of departmental and FAA rules and regulations
Ability to work effectively with other staff members, pilots, and vendors
Must be able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Must be computer literate
