Description:Successful candidate must be able to:
-Perform repairs, overhauls, and/or modifications on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings.
-Perform basic duties on sheet metal and composite components, including riveting, sandblasting, metal grinding and forming with hand tools.
-Work independently with limited supervision.
-Consistently and accurately disassemble, clean, evaluate, perform repairs, modifications and assemble components in accordance with approved data.
-Write in a clear and concise manner the results of evaluations and be able to communicate repair requirements.
-Adhere to EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
-Work occasional overtime as required to support business requirements.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability in utilizing component overhaul manuals, blueprints, basic shop principles, and various inspection methods, techniques, and tools.
Must be familiar with FAA rules and regulations.
Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches
This is a safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. DOT’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require that you participate in a drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana – Opioids – Cocaine – Amphetamines – Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs.
Understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300.
FAA Airframe License or Repairman certificate desired.
