Roles and Responsibilities
Maintaining and repairing aircraft in the company’s fleet.
Troubleshooting, inspecting and diagnosing maintenance issues involving aircraft structures, systems, and engines.
Working with flight crewmembers to resolve reported discrepancies through company approved procedures, Minimum Equipment List (MEL) procedures and return aircraft to service.
Performing routine and non-routine inspections and create shift turnover reports when required.
Procuring parts and materials requests according to company procedures in conjunction with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Ensuring all work records, forms and paperwork are prepared and completed in a timely manner and in accordance with Federal regulations and company procedures.
Performing cleaning of the aircraft as appropriate during inspections and outside of inspections.
Maintaining a safe, clean and organized working environment.
Participating in departmental meetings, as required by supervisor.
Performing aircraft run-ups and taxiing when required for maintenance.
Operating ground support equipment such as tugs and towing equipment for the purposes of moving aircraft in and out of a hangar and ramp placement.
Ensuring ground support equipment is functional and that maintenance is performed to keep equipment operational.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
Must have your own tools.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in aircraft maintenance on turboprops preferred, or experience working on aircraft utilized by the company within the last twelve (12) months.
Familiarity with Federal regulations and the ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals.
Experience with routine and non-routine inspections.
Strong work ethic and ability to work 5 days per week with a schedule that may encompass weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Ability to perform road trips/travel when needed to repair aircraft at outstations.
Strong communication skills.
Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
