Summary
ATP seeks a maintenance technician to ensure the training center, flight simulators, and housing facilities are professionally maintained to support safe flight training operations. The employer will provide job-specific simulator maintenance training for qualified technicians.

 

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in building maintenance
Able to troubleshoot facilities issues with good problem solving skills
Understands basic PC assembly and networking technologies
Able to perform basic mechanical maintenance
Able to use basic computer programs
Able to read technical manuals, instructions, and operational information to properly repair equipment
Able to pass a background check for airport security
Clean driving record (ATP vehicle insurance requirement)
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities
General building maintenance and repairs
Light electrical and plumbing work
Light landscape maintenance
Maintain and repair IT equipment
Maintain and repair PC and peripheral equipment
Perform daily operational inspections and maintenance on PC-based flight simulator devices
Coordinate estimates with contractors to ensure projects and ongoing maintenance are priced competitively
Manage contractor relationships to ensure they deliver efficient, high-quality service
Coordinate short-term and long-term maintenance contract schedules
Monitor contractor invoices for accuracy and opportunities to reduce costs
Respond to urgent issues involving the facility when necessary
Occasionally travel to other AZ and CA locations as needed

Schedule
Monday thru Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (times flexible) (on-call for emergency situations)

Physical Demands
The Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician is regularly required to talk, hear, see, stand; walk; use hands to fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds and the ability to climb a 15’ ladder will be required.
