Summary
The Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic maintains the airframe and engines of aircraft to meet FAA standards. This position involves tasks such as performing routine checks and repairs, keeping records of inventory, and identifying faults with components of the plane. This position is based in North Canton, Ohio.
Reports To
The Aircraft and Powerplant mechanic reports directly to the Director of Maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Overnight maintenance on Dornier 328-300 and Embraer 135 aircraft
Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases returning aircraft to service
Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals
Properly complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with Ultimate Jetcharters Policies and Procedures.
Troubleshoot systems; disassembles, repairs, and reassembles sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to technical data provided.
Maintain work area, tools and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions
Collaborate with Ultimate Jetcharters maintenance control and planning daily

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Valid FAA A & P Certification
Valid Driver License
Flexible to work holidays, weekends, and nights
5 Years Regional Jet maintenance experience
Positive attitude towards productivity, safety and quality maintenance
Good communication skills (verbal, written and radio)
Must have own set of tools
Must already be authorized to work in the United States and show evidence.
